
After graduating from California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Tyler Valencia turned an internship with the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) into a full-time role.
At NESTA, he excelled in various positions, honed his skills in online instructional design, and accepted an executive role with the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT) & Smart Fitness. Later, Tyler founded the Kinesiology Institute for Performance Specialists (KIPS), which has been offering online and live education for health and fitness professionals since 2016.
In 2020, Tyler decided to relaunch his first-ever entrepreneurial quest and relaunched Time 2 Train Fitness, an online platform for YouTube workouts aimed at those exercising at home. Tyler holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Kinesiology and is pursuing a doctorate in Health and Human Performance.
