Mark A Nutting has been a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and health club manager since 1980. He is a two-time national award winner as the NSCA Personal Trainer of the Year in 2009 and as the PFP Personal Trainer of the Year Legacy Award.
In 2010, Mark began his focus on coaching others in the fitness industry in business best practices. In 2018, he had his book, The Business of Personal Training published by Human Kinetics publishing company. In addition to presenting at conferences, both domestic and international, he would go on to facilitate mastermind groups, produce webinars, and continue coaching in the fitness industry as well as helping business owners/entrepreneurs in other industries.
While still teaching group fitness, Mark has retired from his owner/manager/trainer duties to focus more on business coaching and writing his next book.
While having been working in the fitness industry for 45 years, Mark has also been is or has been an author, actor, dancer, superhero (he did personal appearances as Captain America and Spider-Man for Marvel for 8 years), singer, musician, podcaster, and improv performer.
