A former D1 athlete who overcame disordered eating, Carrie teaches a unique approach to health and wellness built on the science of blood sugar stabilization and behavior change.
Carrie is the founder of Disruptive Nutrition and the host of Diet Disruptors (Apple Top 70 Nutrition podcast), where she educates thousands on the science of blood sugar stabilization and behavior change for sustainable, lasting health and weight loss. She also co-founded PFC3 with celebrity nutritionist, Mark Macdonald, to train and certify health professionals to teach these concepts to their clients. Carrie holds a Bachelor’s of Science and two Master’s degrees, and she is a board certified Nutritionist and Health Coach through the International Board of Nutrition and Fitness Coaching. Her debut book, From Corset to Crown: Disrupting Everything You’ve Been Told About Weight Loss, Confidence, and Self-Worth, comes out in 2026.
Carrie is fluent in Spanish and once moved with her daughters to Mexico for a year to immerse them in the language and culture. Carrie spent a decade as a K-12 special educator and school administrator. She also previously served as an official spokesperson for Mattel Fisher Price Asia, where she traveled the world speaking to parents about child development and behavior. She also founded the largest educational consulting firm in Singapore, Live and Learn Asia. She was also a TedX speaker in South Africa in 2025 where she delivered a talk on disrupting the diet industry.
