What is SUCCEED! the FBA Virtual Conference & Expo all about?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our major convention and Expo called SUCCEED! went online and never looked back! The online event boasts education from the best educators inside and outside of the fitness industry to bring you the best opportunity to grow in any capacity! This is a great opportunity for the entire fitness industry to enjoy!
Who should attend?
We encourage and welcome EVERYONE in the fitness industry! Trainer, coach, instructor, nutritionist, dietitian, fitness business, manager, and/or independent contractor.
For those fitness businesses, we welcome any size, discipline, or tenure in business including fitness lovers with an entrepreneurial spirit, who have or who plan to parlay their passion for health and wellness doing what they love. Industry leaders and influencers who want to connect with others and hold meaningful dialog for the future of the industry.
Is SUCCEED! really free for 3-days?
Yes! We welcome anyone to come in and enjoy the first three days of the conference completely free as a courtesy of the FBA community (SUCCEED!'s parent company).
Why does the price for the upgrade registration show $299/yr and not just $299?
The upgrade registration at SUCCEED! includes a membership to SUCCEED!'s parent company the Fitness Business Association (FBA). Through that industry-leading association, you gain access to additional perks and value, and it's also where all the sessions are housed once the conference ends.
Keep in mind, that because it's billed annually, you can always upgrade during the conference and cancel at any time. This will still give you a full year of access to everything but not have to worry about the auto-renewal.
What else should I know?
While access to the education is free for the first three days, we do provide an exciting opportunity (for a very nominal fee) to upgrade and gain access to the entire conference. Upgrade options provide a ton of perks including the ability to watch every single session on your own time, FBA Certification, on-going education after the event and so much more.
Additionally, for those who upgrade, you can also add-on CEC/CEUs from all major certifying organizations!
How do the sessions work exactly?
All sessions will start PROMPTLY at their scheduled time. You may jump around to other sessions scheduled at the same time as well. If you've upgraded, you can sit back and relax because even if you're late to a session or miss one, you may go back and watch any session at any time!
All breakout sessions are conducted semi-live. This means the session is pre-recorded yet the speaker is in the virtual room during the session playback answering questions in real-time. Many additional sessions throughout the conference are conducted LIVE!
My video quality of the sessions is choppy and/or pixelated...why?
The quality of the session playback is entirely tied to your internet connection. Please ensure you are connected via a high-speed connection without any other applications running in the background to ensure the highest quality sound and video. We also highly recommend you restart your computer prior to attending the conference.
What about the Q&A during and after each session, how does that work?
Every session has its own virtual room where the session will start playing promptly at its scheduled time. During the session, you can use the discussion/chat feature to ask questions at any time.
Please keep in mind that your question may not get answered due to the volume of attendees (several thousand).
How do I engage with other attendees during the weekend?
It’s easy! There will be a large button to access the virtual forum where on-going discussion will be happening to ask questions about specific sessions and get real-time feedback as well!
CEC/CEUs + FBA Certification
How do I earn my CEC/CEUs?
CEC/CEUs are only available at SUCCEED! when you upgrade your registration OR if you're part of the FBA (www.fbafitness.com). Once purchased or signed up, you will be sent a CEC/CEU grid/spreadsheet the week of the virtual conference and every day the event is happening.
On that spreadsheet, you will mark an 'X' next to each session you attend. Once you've finished watching all your sessions, simply send the spreadsheet back to us at either info@fbafitness.com or succeed@fbafitness.com. SUCCEED! will evaluate participants to determine that you've accessed the event and stayed for the duration of each session for which you'd like to earn CEC/CEUs and then issue your certificate of achievement!
I see you offer CEC/CEUs at every SUCCEED! Virtual Conference you do, 3x a year. Do you offer the same amount at each?
While the exact number might differ, at every SUCCEED! Virtual conference we always offer enough CEC/CEUs to get recertified, or nearly. That means each conference we do offers you the chance to get a ton of continuing education from a massive selection of topics that interest you!
Are CEC/CEUs offered to those who register for FREE?
Currently, CEC/CEUs are only available if you upgrade your registration at SUCCEED! and not to those who register for free. However, should you upgrade, then the education sessions on the free days DO count towards your continuing education. Per the certifying organizations, we aren't able to offer CEC/CEUs for free.
I never received my CEC/CEU grid/spreadsheet. What do I do?
In rare occurrences, our emails might hit your spam, we recommend checking there first but if nothing is showing, it's as easy as emailing us at succeed@fbafitness.com or info@fbafitness.com and we'll promptly send it over!
I can't get the grid to work. It won't allow me to enter an 'X' on the spreadsheet, now what?
First, try downloading the file to your desktop and opening it from there. That typically solves the issue. If that doesn't work, you may also email us the names of the sessions you watch, which will allow our education and events team to run our full review.
How do I keep track of the sessions I've attended at SUCCEED! with my purchase of CEC/CEUs?
On your CEC/CEU grid/spreadsheet make sure to mark an 'X' next to each session you attend and that you'd like to receive your CEC/CEUs. If you don't receive one, you may email us for a copy at succeed@fbafitness.com or info@fbafitness.com.
Do I have to watch every session to earn all the CEC/CEUs?
No, definitely not! On the spreadsheet, next to each session it'll say how many CEC/CEUs each certifying organization is providing for that session. You put an 'X' next to that session and proceed from there. Typically for 2.0 or 20 CEC/CEUs it's around 20 sessions that need to be watched.
From there at SUCCEED! operates as an honor system for all education. You let us know how many sessions you completed and we identify that you did access the conference to be able to issue your certificate.
If my wifi drops and I log back on, will I still get my credit?
Of course! You have an entire 12 months to watch at any time you'd like.
How do I prepare during the conference?
How you prepare is completely up to you. However to view the education during the conference, you simply log in to the event dashboard by clicking your unique access link that'll be sent via email every day and watch the sessions, that's all!
Are there tests?
No tests at all!
Is it easy to navigate from one session to another?
Yep, you just leave a session room and click on another link to go into the next. All through a convenient dashboard.
Can I watch the sessions later and still earn the credit?
Yes, our system operates on the honor system and you have 12 months to enjoy all the SUCCEED! education.
Where do I find the sessions after the conference?
Once SUCCEED! ends we move all sessions to SUCCEED!'s parent company the FBA (Fitness Business Association). All you'll need to do is login to your FBA Membership Account (the one created during registration), click the green 'dashboard' button in the right-hand corner, and then navigate to the Knowledge Center.
Everything you need will be found there!
When do I get my certificate of achievement?
Once SUCCEED! can properly determine that you've attended the event and the appropriate sessions necessary, we'll promptly send your Certificate of Achievement. Remember, in order to receive your certificate we must receive your completed CEC/CEU excel spreadsheet.
What do I send to my certifying organization to get credit?
We recommend you send your certificate of achievement.
How does the FBA Certification work?
This HUGE perk is part of the package with CEC/CEUs. Once you've upgraded you'll have the option to begin your FBA Certification journey and complete all the required coursework to earn your certificate.
Post-SUCCEED! we'll direct you to all the necessary information to ensure a smooth transition occurs. And of course, you may reach out to us at any time with questions.
